Alastair Jenkins, Chairman & CEO

Alastair has more than 25 years of experience in the aerospace, GIS and remote sensing technology fields.  As founder and CEO of a number of global companies he has both technical, operational and finance experience growing multiple companies from entrepreneurial startups to successful exits as both public and private enterprises, Alastair is an internationally recognized expert in the field of remote sensing and LiDAR technology, has an Honours degree in Physics from Imperial College London and is an Associate of the Royal College of Science.

Cameron Shankland, Vice President, Business Development

Cameron is responsible for Sales and Business Development at Aethon. With 22 years of experience working within the energy sector, predominately supporting Infrastructure clients in a business development, sales management, technical, geomatic and project management capacity. 11 of those years were supporting the growth of GeoDigital International in markets that included North America, South America and Australasia - where he was successful in gaining $34M in new business. Cameron is the past president of GITA - Pacific Northwest Chapter and is involved on several committees for the Utility Arborists Association - including past-chair of the Outreach Committee, member of the Pipeline Sub-Committee, and Marketing Committees, specifically Co-Chair of the Strategic Partnerships Committee.

Trevor Kryt, P.Eng.  Vice President, Operations

Trevor is responsible for all operational aspects of acquisition, production, project management and service delivery at Aethon and brings over 25 years of experience in project management, business development, operations management, engineering technical lead, financial management, sub-contractor management and client services.  As a key member of the GeoDigital Leadership team for 8 years, Trevor achieved many accomplishments in the domestic and international electric utility business, initiating and delivering many complex technical projects supporting corporate revenues of up to $40 million annually.  He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering and is a registered Professional Engineer in BC (Canada) and has recently completed his Project Management Institute Certification Training.
